A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Jenna Holmes and I own and run Scarlet Rose Events a wedding planning service based in Kent.
With my organisational skills, love for meeting new people and a passion for planning, the wedding & events industry feels the only way forward.
Over the last few years I realised my passion and expertise for all things event related. Starting as a hobby, I found a passion for it at my own Wedding. From then, I knew I wanted to start my own business. For years I’d be planning and organising surprise parties, baby showers, milestone birthday spa weekends and many more events for my nearest and dearest.
So it was no great surprise to my friends and family when I told them I decided to ‘bite the bullet’ and look into event management as a profession.
It was only a few months ago I decided to do something about it and pursue it as a career. I felt was right for me.
And so Scarlet Rose Events was born!
It’s a really exciting time for me, getting into the industry more and more and I can’t get enough of it. As I now get to use my project management skills and combine it with my hobby and passion. It’s a dream come true!
I love all things event related, the planning, the networking, being creative with my ‘out of the box’ thinking. Especially with wedding planning – themes, designs and ideas are constantly changing and it’s such a great part of life to get involved in.
I live for the moments that are created when everything falls into place perfectly. Moments like the Groom’s face when he sees his Bride for the first time, or the Bride when she sees herself in the mirror in her dress, or the look on her Dad’s face when he sees her.
All of which are the reasons why I love what I do. After all the hard work and effort gone into planning, it makes it all worthwhile. It’s a great feeling being a part of their special day as you experience that same journey from start to finish.
